I’ve recently found a cool new plugin called Slickr, an AJAX plugin that utilizes light-box to show pictures on WordPress from a Flickr account. It’s very fast, light-weight, and easy to implement.
It’s currently running on Bui4Ever.com at www.bui4ever.com/flickr/.
All that you need to run this wonderful plugin are two plugins:
After download those both and uploading them to the plugins folder (wp-content/plugins/), you just activate them, and select a pre-built theme or make your own to work with your existing theme (I had to make slight modifications to the Default theme to make it work in my theme). Then you configure it to have read access to your Flickr account and decide a few other options and then you’re all set! Simple.

I’m currently using fAlbums now, I find the admin interface to be so much more usable and customizing the layout of fAlbum to my theme is so much easier. Check it out here: http://www.bui4ever.com/photos/
