Are you interested in catching a once in a lifetime concert but when you go to buy Concert Tickets, it’s sold out?! Why risk trying to buy from ticket scalpers when you can get great seat tickets from ticket brokers? TicketFeeder.com is another one of the few tickets brokers who are able to get sold out concert tickets for you and your friends and/or family.

They have a nicely designed website that is both easy to navigate and easy to view. I personally have not used their services, but if the need did arise, I wouldn’t have any issues with buying tickets from them as they are part of the National Association of Ticket Brokers, which gives me some comfort in knowing that they have been vetted by and adhere to an ethical code of conduct. Plus being accredited by the Better Business Bureau means that TicketFeeder strive to provide the highest level of customer service.

Concert tickets are not the only things that TicketFeeder offers, you can also purchase sport and theater tickets for various locations. TicketFeeder also offers tickets to concerts, not just sold out tickets. You can input your location into their system and sign up for updates in you local area where you will receive an email informing you of any events happening in your area. They offer a RSS feed where you can keep up-to-date from a RSS reader.

One big plus that I like about TicketFeeder is that they put their phone number on the front page in the header unlike other business who do their best to hide it and make it as impossible to find as possible. By prominently displaying your business phone number, it says “we’re here to answer your questions, if you have any.” They also offer Live Chat if you’re at work and have nosy co-workers so you can conduct business privately.

Another thing I like about TicketFeeder is their no-fuss website. You find an event in the area you want, let’s say Lewis Black (the comedian), it gives you the ticket price breakdown with the seat AND the seating chart all on the same page. No popup, no ten clicks to find the price, straight to the point, there it is, buy it now. Compared to TicketMaster, I can purchase a pair of tickets before I go take a bathroom break. With TicketMaster, they have a timer countdown on EVERY PAGE as you try to make a selection and if you exceed the time limit, you have to start over.

TicketFeeder.com is definitely going into my bookmarks for the next time Andrea and I need a pair of tickets.

Looking for those sold out Madonna concert tickets? How about front roll seats to Nickelback? Perhaps you are a big Jimmy Buffet fan and looking for Jimmy Buffet Tickets? TicketsToGo.com is a ticket broker company and part of the National Association of Ticket Brokers (NATB).

Website Design

Notice the weird hanging "chads" on the left and how the text box doesn't overflows over the tab on the right?

My first impression, upon visiting their website, is that they seriously need to overhaul the site design. The entire design is laid out in HTML tables. There are also some styling issues with the styling images under the navigation that cheapens the browsing experience.

The site design is so old I would almost believe it was a scam site if not for their reputation. Also if you live in the Bay Area and take BART, you might notice advertising about deals with Tickets To Go on BART.org.

If you can get over the design, it’s actual not very difficult to navigate the site and find what you are looking for. The Spotlight Events captures your attention of the major acts happening. Underneath you’ll also find Upcoming Events. No matter how good looking a website is, if visitors can’t find what they are looking for, it’s useless. For all the plainness of TicketsToGo.com, it’s loads quick and is easy to navigate.

Services

It’s very clear who TicketsToGo.com competes against. They even spell it out for you if you are confused with this page: TicketMasters Sold Out? Just an FYI, but it’s actually TicketMaster and not TicketMasters. I know it sounds better with the “s”.

Tickets can also be purchased in odd numbers, if they are available.

So to see how the system works out, I decided to look for Carrie Underwood concert tickets. Since she’s a Spotlight Event, I just had to click on her picture and it took me to her bio and also included pictures from various websites, which is a nice touch. There was also a link to check out the seating arrangement, so I decided to randomly choose a venue, Deleware State Fair, and there was a nice GIF image of the seating arrangement. This is definitely an improvement over TicketMaster.com because with TicketMaster you have practically add the tickets you want to your cart and go through a couple step process before you can even see the seating chart. With TicketsToGo.com, you can easily see the seating arrangement easily, no fuss.

The way purchasing tickets works with TicketsToGo.com is when you select how many tickets you like, depending upon availability, you may have to purchase tickets in multiples of 2. There are cases where you can purchase odd number tickets, but that depends on what artist, venue, or concert.

Conclusion

I’ll admit, 99% of the time Andrea and I attend concerts we usually get our tickets from TicketMaster.com. But one thing that TicketsToGo.com claims is that they can get sold out tickets, at a premium. Perhaps the next time that we’re trying to get sold out tickets, we’ll give TicketsToGo.com a try.
