Canon EOS 1D Mark III Is Awesome

This is definitely Canon at its finest.

I know I didn’t make any comments when Canon announced the successor to its amazing Canon 1D Mark IIn dSLR, I figured I was going to wait a little bit and see the pre-production models. I finally got a chance to catch some of the shots by Rob Galbraith, where he does a fairly great review of a pre-production Canon 1D Mark III.

The shots are just unbelievable! The sharpness and detail, in my opinion is almost dead on with the Canon 1Ds Mark II (the 16.7MP monster that cost ~$9k).

I hope this drives down the prices of the 1D Mark IIn, so I can actually even begin considering actually affording one of them.
