Traded Lens With My Dad

I was visiting my folks yesterday and my Dad and I decided to trade lens for awhile. His only lens on his Canon EOS 5D is the Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM and I have always been a bit curious about how well that lens performs. Most of the sites I read that review that lens are pretty ho-hum about its performance reporting nothing spectacular or nothing really bad with the lens; just mediocre of a lens.

While I’m borrowing his lens, he’s borrowing my walk around lens, the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM. He was always curious about how well the Canon L lenses shoot, so I figured this would be a great opportunity to test his Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens.

I will definitely say, the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM on the Canon 5D focus amazingly fast!
